Prof. Dr. Viacheslav Izosimov is Senior Expert Embedded Systems and Functional Safety at Semcon Sweden AB. Viacheslav received his PhD at Linköping University in 2009 and Dr. Habilitat (Prof) at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2017. Viacheslav is author of more than 30 publications in the area, including book chapters and journal manuscripts. Viacheslav worked in Machine and Automotive industries as safety expert, cyber-security analyst, safety manager, safety assessor and safety engineer. Viacheslav consultancy work included work with the following primary standards IEC 61508, ISO 26262, ISO 13849, ISO 12100, EN 474, ISO 19014, ISO 14990 and IEC 60204. Viacheslav is Senior member IEEE and Vice-president of IEEE Sweden Section. Viacheslav’s interests include fault-tolerance, resilient cyber-physical systems, embedded systems, autonomous systems and platforms, safety analyses, standardization efforts and cyber-security. Viacheslav is presently doing functional safety management for development of AD systems.
